Folks,

I am getting the Pointer Uninitialized indicator on on some method calls in some C code. Here's an example:

Notice #116: Line: 33 Pointer variable uninitialized.

32: void set_some_data(
33: MY_TYPE *my_ptr,
34: double temp,
35: double dt)
36: {

37: .

38: .

39: .

40: }

All instances where pointers are used in methods catches
this same error. Is this how it is supposed to work?
Variables used in methods like this aren't ever initialized.
Can this be turned off without loosing this check on
locally used pointer variables that aren't used in method
signatures?

Thanks in advance.
